KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 30, 2024: To commemorate the third death anniversary of Comrade Venugopal Rao, Insurance employees leader, the Insurance corporation employees union, Karimnagar division, has distributed buttermilk to the people in front of LIC divisional office in Karimnagar town on Tuesday. It had served buttermilk to over 800 passersby to give some respite from sweltering heat waves.
LIC Divisional manager Narayana inaugurated the camp and served buttermilk to the pedestrians and others. Recollecting the services of Venugopal Rao, who had crusaded for the rights of employees and workers and protection of Insurance sector, he lauded the Insurance Corporation employees leaders for taking up social service programme in memory of Venugopal Rao.
Union general secretary Vaman Rao remembered the trade union leadership qualities of Venugopal Rao and dedicated services to the workforce. Division leaders Ravindranath, Rammohan Rao, Suryakala, Basaveshwar, Srilatha, DO unit leaders Anandam, Mahesh, Branch one leaders Bathini Srinivas, D Srinivas, Branch two leaders Rajeshwar Rao and Class-I officers and employees participated in the programme by paying floral tributes to Venugopal Rao.
