TGSPSC aspirants urge government to postpone Group-I prelims as it as clashing with Central Intelligence Bureau exam

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 01, 2024: Candidates appearing for the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGSPC) Group-I preliminary examination have urged the state government to postpone the examination, which are scheduled to be conducted on June 9, as it would be clashing with the Assistant Central Intelligence  Officer grade-II executive examination on June 9, 2024.

The candidates, who have already cleared the prelims (tier-I) for the recruitment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, are eligible to write the tier-II examination on June 9, said that after hard work they had cleared the tier-I examination and eagerly waiting to clear tier-II and secure the job.

“We unemployed have been waiting for the government jobs in the Telangana state since the formation of separate state. Already, the TGSPSC Group-I prelims was postponed twice it was marred with several irregularities including leakages. Now that the new government had attained and announced the Group-I schedule to recruitment of various jobs. But, it had become a cause of concern for the candidates preparing for the Group-I and Assistant Central Intelligence Officer posts as both the examinations are scheduled on the same day on June 9”, said an aspirant. He urged the Telangana state government to postpone the Group-I examination by at two weeks as the central government cannot postpone the examination as it would be conducted throughout the country.

A parent of a candidate also said that the unemployed youth are preparing and writing various competitive examinations to secure an employment to lead a decent life. Burt, the clash of TSPSC and Central Intelligence Bureau had become a cause of concern for the candidates to write both the examinations on a single day. He said his daughter was selected for central intelligence bureau in tier-I exam and would be writing her tier-II exam and its centre is in Hyderabad. Whereas, the TGSPSC examination Group-I prelims centre is in Karimnagar town, he reminded. He urged the government to postpone the Group-I prelims to help the candidates write the central Intelligence bureau examinations.
