Three-day Lions clubs MultiCon inaugurated in Karimnagar town

KARIMNAGAR, MAY 17, 2024: The three-day MultiCon, the fourth annual council meeting of Lions International Multiple District 320 comprising Lions clubs of Telangana and parts of Karnataka state got off to a start at Prathima multiplex in Karimnagar town on Friday.

The meeting was chaired by Council chairman Teegala Mohan Rao, Chief Guest was G Babu Rao, the International Director and Global Action Team (GAT) constitutional area leader R Sunil Kumar and others attended the council meeting.

On this occasion, the meeting discussed in detail about the social service programmes taken up by various Lions clubs of the Multiple District. Especially, the services of Lions charitable eye hospital and ‘Meals and Wheels’ programme were discussed and stressed on the need to make more popular and reach the beneficiaries.

The council had unanimously elected the new office-bearers for the year 2024-25 which includes Hanumandla Raji Reddy as the chairman, K Harish Reddy as vice chairman, N Venkateshwar Rao as secretary, Resu Malla Reddy as treasurer and Shiva Prasad as joint secretary.

On Saturday, there would be a training programme for various clubs officers at Vasudha convention in Karimnagar town. On Sunday, the meeting would conduct condolence meeting for the Lions club members who passed away due to various. Besides, the different districts governors teams would be introduced to the meeting, according to conference secretary Ananthula Shiva Prasad.
