KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 10, 2024: There was good response to the women’s chess championship organised on the occasion of International Women’s day celebrations by Genius Chess Academy and Telangana Democratic Chess Association in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
Dr Chandini Krishna Chaitanya, Prime Kidney care hospital, Karimnagar, participated as chief guest and participated in the competitions by moving the pawns. The participants from 6 years to 65 years participated in the competitions. The organisers have given cash prizes and mementoes to the winners and participation certificates to all.
Genius Chess Academy Director Kankati Anoop said that they were happy to conduct women’s chess championship on the occasion of Women’s day celebrations. Genius chess academy founder Kankati Kanakaiah, Dr Krishna Chaitanya, Bharosa voluntary organisation founder Shivajyothi Nagaraju, Telangana Democratic Chess association leaders Srujan, Tatipalli Satish Babu and others were also present.
