KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 25, 2024: With the race for the Congress party tickets for the ensuing parliament elections gaining momentum, a fresh and new entrant into politics is being figured in the political circles from the Karimnagar parliament constituency.
Sneha Polsani’s name is doing rounds in the political circles in the erstwhile united Karimnagar district that she is the probable candidate from the Congress party from the Karimnagar parliament constituency in the ensuing elections.
Sneha has graduated from the prestigious educational institutions in Hyderabad, Bangalore and California. She is involved with multiple businesses and community activities including being the Director & Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Eclat health solutions.
Eclat Health solutions was the first IT firm to be set up in 2-tier city of Karimnagar in 2011 outside Hyderabad in Telangana state.
Sneha, who is COO of the company, is overseeing 4000 people across USA, INDIA and Philippines with around 400 staff, mostly women in Karimnagar town. Recently, under Sneha’s leadership the company bagged the award from the Hyderabad software enterprises association (HYSEA) and Software Technology Park of India (STPI) for the promotion of IT tier-2 city of Karimnagar.
Sneha also supervises the educational institutions and foundation trusts including the Polsani Innovation Scholarship Fund and is motivated towards rural employment generation and women empowerment.
Sneha is also passionate about clean energy and through her family business, motivated the establishment of the first green energy solar power plants in Karimnagar district in Manakondur and Ellantakunta in 2012.
Sneha is Daugther-in-law of Dr Polsani Sudhakar Rao who is a physician and entrepreneur and Daughter of business man Velchala Ravi Rao.
Coming from a freedom fighters family and hardcore associates of Congress party, Sneha Polsani is the great-grand daughter of Velchala Keshava Rao a distinguished scholar, poet and social reformer and her grandfathers Velchala Kondal Rao is a renowned academician, administrator and poet and late Sri. Velchala Jagapathi Rao, (Congress) a three-term legislator and a towering leader in district and state politics, all playing significant roles in feeedom movement of India.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Congress party leaders are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the victory of the Congress party from majority of Lok Sabha seats in the Telangana state.
Currently, Sneha’s candidature is under active consideration by the district, state and central leadership. If approved by the party, she would be the first Women candidate from the Congress party to contest the Lok Sabha elections from the Karimnagar parliament constituency.
Sneha’s family has deep roots in the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency, with her paternal family hailing from Gundi village of Choppadandi constituency and her husband family from Lingapoor village of Manakondur constituency and grandfather Sri Jagapathi Rao served as MLA from Karimanagar possessing extensive social and business networks in Karimnagar town and constituency.
