KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 13, 2024: Rich tributes were paid to former integrated Andhra Pradesh state Legislative Assembly Speaker Duddilla Sripada Rao on the occasion of his 25th death anniversary in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
The Congress party Karimnagar Assembly segment incharge Purumalla Srinivas, City Congress president and SUDA chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy, PCC secretary V Anjan Kumar, former legislator Arepalli Mohan and others garlanded the portrait of Sripada Rao at the Congress party office in Karimnagar town.
Later, they visited the RTC bus station complex and garlanded his portrait and paid tributes. Speaking on the occasion, the Congress leaders recollected the services of Sripada Rao and election from the Manthani assembly segment for five times. Now, his son and Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu is fulfilling the aspirations of his father by developing the Manthani assembly segment and other parts of the integrated Karimnagar district and the Telangana state. The Congress leader Md Taj, Venna Raja Mallaiah, Bobbilli Victor, G Srinivas Reddy, Nihal Himad, K Ramreddy, Danna Singh, P Ramesh, G Dileep, Swapna Sri, M Jaipal, H Tirumala, Jyothi Reddy, U Latha, P Mallesham and others were also present.
