Bandi Sanjay sounds poll bugle and launches ‘Prajahita yatra’ in his parliament constituency

JAGTIAL, FEBRUARY 10, 2024: Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has sounded poll bugle by launching the ‘Prajahita yatra’ on Saturday after offering prayers at Sri Anjaneya swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu in Jagtial district on Saturday.

He kick-started his six-day across Karimnagar parliamentary with public rally at Medipalli village of Vemulawada assembly segment, Sanjay said the time had come for the people elect the right leaders who stood by them in their difficult times. He asked the people to choose between Narendra Modi who has been striving to herald Rama Rajya or Rahul Gandhi, who has been supporting Razakars and extremist elements.

“Do you want Bandi Sanjay who has been regularly fighting for the cause of people or those leaders who come to the constituency only occasionally like tourists? Do you want a party that carries the legacy of Lord Rama or those who are descendants of demons? Do you like to elect the BJP which keeps faith in god or those who ridicule Hindu gods?” he asked.

Sanjay claimed that he had the backing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lord Rama. But the Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) had the support of Razakars and Rakshas (demons), he alleged.

The BJP national president said nobody had expected that the Ram Mandir at His birthplace in Ayodhya would ever be constructed. “But it was Modi who made it possible and made every Hindu proudly claim that he owned the Ram Mandir. The Congress leaders have ridiculed the sacred rice grains (Akshitalu) from Ayodhya as ration rice. We are ready to send them Akshitalu made of Basmati rice,” he said.

He lashed out at the Congress leaders for kicking up an unwarranted dispute saying whether there was any proof to show that Ayodhya was the birthplace of Lord Rama. “Where is the evidence to prove that these Congress leaders were born to their mothers? Only doctors and nurses who conducted the delivery had told them. So did our scriptures who declared Ayodhya as the birthplace of Lord Rama,” he said.

As regards the BRS leaders, who heckled at the construction of Ram Mandir, Sanjay said the people had taught a fitting lesson to their party in the recent elections. Now, they were hailing the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, he said.

Sanjay also fumed at Rahul Gandhi for questioning the caste of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Do you know that Rahul Gandhi’s real name is Raul Vinci? Raul means wolf. On the other hand, Modi’s caste is Indianness. Modi’s religion is Hindu. Can Pappu Rahul reveal his real caste and religion? What is his grandfather Feroz Gandhi’s caste and religion? What is his mother’s country, religion and caste?” he asked.

He said Narendra Modi belongs to all castes and religions. “Modi belongs to everyone. He is a great leader who has been developing India into No. 1 country in the world,” he asserted.

Sanjay cautioned that if the Congress comes to power by any chance, it would definitely pull down the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya and reconstruct the Babri Masjid. “Do you want Ram temple to stay or Babri Masjid to be back? People should decide,” he said.

On KCR, the BJP national general secretary said the BRS president’s time was up. “He had performed Tantrik worship at his farmhouse, praying evil forces that I would either die or become paralysed. But finally, his worship has backfired and he was thrown out of power. Now, nobody is going to his farmhouse, which was a haven for such evil forces,” he said.

Commenting on the state budget introduced in the state assembly on Saturday, Sanjay said the Congress had cheated the people out and out. It required more than Rs 5 lakh crore to implement the promises made by the Congress before the elections, but the government had allotted only Rs 53,000 crore. There is absolutely no comparison to the pre-election promises and the budgetary allocations,” he said.

He also ridiculed the Congress for its fake tributes to former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, who was conferred with Bharat Ratna by the BJP government at the Centre. “The Congress betrayed PV and when he passed away, it did not even allow his last rites to be performed in New Delhi. When Majlis party threatened to demolish P V Ghat in Hyderabad, the Congress leaders did not utter a word. It was BJP who warned against any such move and even threatened to raze the Darussalam,” he pointed out.

Stating that he had taken up Praja Sangrama Yatra in the past to understand the difficulties of the people, Sanjay said he had now embarked on Prajahitha Yatra to silence his critics who were questioning his contribution to Karimnagar parliamentary constituency.

He claimed that in the last five years, he had brought more than Rs 12,000 crore from the Centre for the development of Karimnagar, including Rs 590 crore for Vemulawada assembly constituency alone. “Whatever development that you have been witnessing in the villages was because of the funds released by the Modi government,” he said.

Sanjay requested the people to vote for him again in the coming elections to see that Narendra Modi would become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term. He sought the blessings of the people for the success of his yatra.
