WARANGAL, FEBRUARY 12, 2024: A hybrid variety of red chilli was sold at an all-time record price of Rs 40,000 per quintal at Enumamula market in Warangal district on Monday.
A farmer Alipaiahd from Kurnool had arrived with his chilli produce to Warangal mirchi yard. Following its good and export quality, a trader had purchased the RHS 365 variety of chilli by quoting Rs 40,000 per quintal. The farmer was all happy for securing record price to his chilli crop which was more than his expected price. The other varieties of chilli priced from Rs 20,000 per quintal onwards in the market.
