KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 22, 2024: Following the reports about the patients including pregnant women and infants of the Mother and Child Health Centre (MCHC) suffering from sizzling heat wave conditions, the Lions Clubs of International District 320G has donated four air-coolers to the MCHC hospital in Karimnagar town on Monday.
Lions clubs family and women’s coordinator Munipalli Phanitha raised funds by sharing the message among the social media groups. Instantly, the Lions club members raised Rs 23,000 for donating air-coolers to the hospital. With the funds raised from the members, the Lions club purchased four air-coolers and donated the same to the MCHC hospital.
They handed over the coolers to hospital superintendent Dr Veera Reddy, Lions district governor Hanumandla Raji Reddy, First VDG Kodandaram, second VDG M Rajesham, members M Phanitha, Bodla Rajani and others were also present.
