NTPC SRHQ enters into MOA with Aakar Asha Hospitals for support of Reconstructive Surgery

HYDERABAD, MAY 03, 2024:  As part of its CSR Programme, NTPC Southern Region HQ today entered into an MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) with Aakar Asha Hospitals for supporting the reconstructive surgery of 150 patients suffering from physical deformities.

The financial assistance provided by NTPC includes conducting reconstructive surgeries at their super specialty hospitals based at Hyderabad , including supply of medicines free of cost during their treatment at the hospital, patient care before and after the surgery including food and stay at the hospital for the patients and their attendants, physiotherapy and rehabilitation

Mr Badruddin Ansari, DGM-HR signed the agreement on behalf of NTPC and Dr Bharatendu Swain, Director, Aakar Asha Hospitals signed it on behalf of Aakar Asa Unit in the presence of Mr SN Panigrahi, GM(HR) NTPC SRHQ. Speaking on the occasion Mr Panigrahi, GM(HR) stated that Health is one of the key areas where NTPC is undertaking various CSR initiatives for reaching out to poor and needy beneficiaries

Aakar Asha Hospitals extended their gratitude to NTPC for taking the initiative of rendering support for reconstructive surgery to poor children, women and other beneficiaries.
