KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 09, 2024: A warm and rich paste of golden brown hue, made of mixture of mashed mutton, pounded wheat and lentils, simmered and stirred for more than six hours with more than 20 aromatic herbs and spices. Did that sentence take your breath away? Well, Haleem can be quite breathtaking.
The Karimnagar town’s popular Kings Dhaba has opened its dining room doors to Haleem, the Arabian delicacy that took the Hyderabad route to this part of the city in Telangana. Even as several shops sprang up in various parts of the town to serve the Haleem, the Kings Dhaba had won accolades for its quality and everlasting taste added with special ghee and tantalising flavour.
Even before the Ramzan festival had began, the Kings Dhaba Haleem had opened its centre opposite to Manair hotel and adjacent to R&B guest house in Karimnagar town on Saturday. Congress party Karimnagar assembly segment incharge Purumalla Srinivas, Kings Dhana owner Javeed, MIM leader Syed Moijuddin Khadri Yosuf, Hyderabad chefs Baba Patel, Khaja Bhai and Miya Bhai, MPTC member P Laxminarayana and others were also present.
