Commerce and Management students display various exhibits and showcase their creativity
HANAMKONDA, SEPTEMBER 26, 2024: Department of Commerce and Business of the Vaagdevi Degree and PG College, Hanamkonda organized an exclusive ‘CBM EXPO 2K24’, a grand exhibition focusing on commerce and management concepts.
The event was inaugurated by P. Malla Reddy, Registrar of Kakatiya University, who played a pivotal role in marking the commencement of this educational initiative. In his inaugural speech, Prof. Malla Reddy expressed his admiration for the efforts of the students and faculty in organizing such an event. He emphasized that exhibitions like the CBM EXPO provide students with an innovative and experiential approach to learning, setting it apart from traditional methods of education.
According to him, this type of Commerce and Management Exhibition serves as a platform for students to not only display their creativity but also explore real-world applications of their academic knowledge. He appreciated the students for their innovative ideas and creativity showcased through various exhibits and projects. Prof. Reddy also stressed the significance of practical learning in education, mentioning that hands-on experience and active participation are essential for students to thoroughly understand and apply theoretical concepts. His words were highly encouraging for the students and faculty alike.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed faculty members, including Principal Shesha Chalam, Vice Principal Harendra Reddy, MBA Director Raji Reddy, Head Department of Commerce and Management C Dattatreyulu faculty members Sugunakar Reddy and others also present. They played an instrumental role in the planning and execution of the CBM EXPO, ensuring its success and providing students with a meaningful learning experience.
In addition, the exhibition had distinguished judges, including Rajashekhar, Associate Professor from Kakatiya Government Degree College and B. Rajani, Associate Professor from the Department of Commerce, Chaitanya Deemed to be University*. These judges assessed the students’ exhibits, which covered a wide array of commerce and management-related topics. The judging criteria were based on innovation, presentation, and practical application of concepts. Both judges were highly impressed by the students’ depth of knowledge and the creativity exhibited in their projects.
The event concluded with distribution of certificates and prizes to the winners and runners-up in various categories, recognizing their hard work and excellence in showcasing their understanding of commerce and management principles.
