SIDDIPET, SEPTEMBER 26, 2024: The Telangana Skill and Knowledge Centre (TSKC) in association with Department of English of Government Degree College, Siddipet, organised a GATE-2025 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) awareness programme for the benefit of all the undergraduate students on Thursday.
Anjani Saraswati, Assistant Professor of English of the college, who was resource person, enlightened the students on different aspects of the exam. She explained the importance of the Gate examination and its advantages. She also explained future opportunities after clearing the Gate examination. She created awareness about GATE examination and its direct and indirect benefits among students, rules and examination patterns, syllabus etc. She also enlightened the students about availability of PG seats in IISc, IITs, NITs, IIMs and various reputed universities in India and abroad.
Incharge Principal and HoD, department of Zoology P Ayodhya R eddy was the chief guest, HoD, Department of English and TSKC coordinator J Uma Maheshwari motivated the students to utilize the opportunity and apply for GATE examination. Faculty members IJN Mallika, K. Krishnaiah, B. Laxmaiah, G. Balakishan, M. Srinivas, M. Ramakrishna, AV Shesha Chary and TSKC mentor Mahesh participated in the programme.
