World Wildlife Conservation Day celebrated at GDC Gambhiraopet

Students participate in a poster presentation programme 

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 26, 2024: Students of Government Degree College, Gambhiraopet, Rajanna-Sircilla district, celebrated the World Wildlife Conservation Day to generate awareness among the masses on the protection and conservation of wildlife, nature and natural resources by participating in the poster presentation programme on Thursday.

A “Poster Presentation Programme” was grandly organized by the students of the college as part of “World Wildlife Conservation” week celebrations under the auspices of the Zoology and Botany departments under the presidency of College Principal V  Vijayalakshmi  The program was organized with the courtesy of Zoology faculty  KV Bikshamaya and Botany department faculty Sucharan.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal said that it is everyone’s responsibility to protect wild animals around the world, and the main purpose of this programme is to organize programmes to create awareness about wildlife conservation.

A large number of students and teachers of Junior College BiPC Secondary, as well as students and teachers of Zilla Praja Parishad, visited the college to inspect the posters and interactions of the students.

Vice Principal Prabhakar, Faculty members Shravan, Anjaneyulu, V Vani, Adi Vishnu Srinivas, Manohar Krishna Prasad Mahesh Srinu, Ramulu, Bhargavi, Deepika and non-teaching staff and students participated.
