In a  statement, Penchala Srinivas said that the retired finance officer M Ravinder was appointed as university finance officer in the year 2018 by following a GO. After a brief stint of one year, he resigned to his post for personal reasons. In the year 2021, when S Mallesham took charge as VC, Ravinder was appointed by the VC without issuing any notification and ratified it later at university EC meeting.
