Students exhibit their engineering prowess at JITS Innofest-24

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 27, 2024: Innofest-2024, a three-day inter/intra college technical fest, started at Jyothimathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous) on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Wednesday. The inaugural day saw students participating and showcasing their engineering skills in a number of events.

The fest was inaugurated by Principal of University College of Engineering, Jagtial, Prof V Kamakshi Prasad along with JITS chairman J Sagar Rao and principal KS Rao.

More than 700 students were participating in the fest by presenting the projects at expo and paper presentation at Papy Ruz. The winners of project expo would be given Rs 5,000 cash prize and runners up Rs 3,000. Similarly, the winners of paper presentation Rs 3,000 and runners up Rs 2,000. Besides, mementoes and certificates.

On this occasion, Mr Kamakshi Prasad  congratulated the students and appreciated the enthusiasm show by them for their participation in presenting various projects.  He informed the students to develop scientific temper and design models and secure patent for their innovations. Dean (academics) K Vaishali, Dean (student affairs) P Sampath Rao, faculty coordinators R Jagadeshan, M Manikandan, Purnachander, student coordinators B Harshitha, K Rohith, Saba Kauser, B Rishikesh, P Rohitha and others were also present.
