KARIMNAGAR, MAY 01, 2024: Students of SRR Government Arts and Science college in Karimnagar town have bagged the third prize in the state-level (Hindi) competition of JIGNASA student study project organised by the Higher Education department on Wednesday.
The students received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a certificate from the commissioner of Collegiate education and Principal Secretary (Higher Education) Burra Venkatesham, Joint Directors of College Education G Yadagiri and Rajender Singh and others.
Under the able guidance of V. Vara Prasad, Associate Professor of Hindi, the students Md Muju Taba, Md Asif, Sk Sharjeel, Sd Khaja Moinuddin and Sardar Manpreet Singh conducted a research on the topic of ‘Hindi Language in Social Media: A Study’ (with reference to WhatsApp and Facebook) and won the third prize. On this occasion, Principal of SRR Govt College, K. Rama Krishna, Vice Principal T Rajaiah, Staff Secretary A Srinivas and other professors congratulated Hindi Associate Professor V. Varaprasad and his students.
