KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 16, 2024: Nizamabad Group Commander Colonel Sunil Abrahim felicitated the cadets from NCC 9 Telangana battalion, 12 battalion from Nizamabad and 33 battalion from Sangareddy, who participated in the Republic Day camp, New Delhi, at the Group headquarters in Nizamabad town on Friday
The Colonel said the Republic Day Camp was NCC’s biggest national-level camp. It consists of five main competitions — escort drill on Kartavya Path, Prime Minister’s rally, selection of best cadet, cultural programme and flag area briefing.
A record number of four cadets are from 9 Telangana battalion viz D Sagar, T Vijay, Sri Charan and SK Rizyan, three from Nizamabad viz K Nithin, Akanksha Bhosle and Yochana and K Mahitha from Sangareddy. 9 Telangana battalion commanding officer Col Denial Lotzem, Lt Col Jaiswal, Subedar Major Sagar Singh and others were also present.
