KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 11, 2024: Karimnagar ACP Gopathi Narender has formally inaugurated the Telangana inter-state karate championship at Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Sunday.
Organised by the Alphores educational institutions in association with Okinawa martial arts academy. Speaking on the occasion, the ACP said: “Sports make the life disciplined, and motivate the players to overcome difficulties and move forward. It’s such an experience which stay with them throughout life.” Referring to his association with sports in his early life, he explained how the lessons learnt while playing still serve him in his personal and professional life.
He also appreciated the Alphores educational institutions for making sports as part of the curriculum of the students to make them healthy and fit. Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy encourage the karatekas. He said that the karate helps the students to lead a disciplined life and helps in their overall personality development and overcome stress. Okinawa martial arts academy chief instructor Vasanth Kumar thanked the Alphores educational institutions for encouraging sports. Around 500 students participated in various competitions and prizes were distributed by the organisers.
