KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 10, 2024: Collector Pamela Satpathy has formally flagged off and participated in the 5K run and walkathon organised by Karimnagar runners and cyclists association on the LMD reservoir in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector informed the people to make exercise a part of their routine lifestyle to stay fit and healthy. She said that the regular Physical activity such as walking, jogging, aerobic exercise, cycling or swimming for at least 30 minutes everyday will facilitate in reducing blood sugar and BP significantly. She also lauded the services of Karimnagar runner and cyclist association for creating awareness about the importance of staying healthy by doing regular exercises.
On this occasion, the Collector felicitated the womenfolk, who were excelling in the cycling. The Telagnana revenue employees association provided snacks to all the participants. District Marketing officer Padmavathi, district runners and cyclists association president Pasula Mahesh, women police station inspector Srilatha, One town inspector Sarilal, Municipal deputy commissioner Swaroopa, Rani, runners and cyclists association members Vimala, Hema Bhat, Swapna, Gayathri, , Geethika, Kavya, Dr Usha Khandal, Ravinder, Shiva, Rohit, Santosh, Shekhar, Dr Ajay Khandal, Akhil, Ghulab Singh Chauhan and others were also present.
