KARIMNAGAR, MAY 29, 2024: Collector Pamela Satpathy has instructed the officials to spruce up all the government schools by taking all repairs and developmental works taken up under the ‘Amma Adarsha Patashala’ programme before June 4 in the district.
At a review meeting with the special official officers, engineering officials and others at the Collectorate conference hall in Karimnagar town on Wednesday evening, the Collector directed the officials to work round the clock to complete all the pending works before June 4. She informed the officials to ensure that all basic amenities such water, electricity and toilets were completed on time and warned of stern action if there was any lethargy in the completion of works.
She said that they had taken up developmental works in 345 schools in the district. She informed the officials concerned to review the progress of works every day and complete all works before June 4. She instructed the officials to take up painting works of all schools on a war-footing.
Additional Collector Praful Desai informed the special officers to oversee the developmental works. DRDO Sridhar, DEO Ch Janardhan Rao, ZP CEO Srinivas, Panchayat Raj EE Srinivas Rao, Public health EE Sampath Rao and others were also present.
