KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 06, 2024: The state government has launched the ambitious Prof K Jayashankar Badi Bata programme from Thursday onwards in various government and Zilla parishad schools in various parts of integrated Karimnagar district to increase enrolment of students.
Accordingly, the teaching faculty members of ZPHS Odyaram in Gangadhara mandal launched the ‘Badi bata’ programme by conducting door to door visit in the village on Thursday. They met the parents, who were sending their children to private schools, to join their wards in the government schools for quality education free of cost including uniforms, books and midday meals etc.
They educated that the government schools were offering education on par with the corporate schools by teaching computers, IFP (interactive flat panel) screens, science laboratories, libraries, digital classrooms and other facilities.
The government teachers informed the parents about the quality and stress-free education to the children and helping them excel in sports and other extra-curricular activities. School headmaster Anugu Prabhakar Rao and others were also present.
