JAGTIAL, APRIL 10, 2024: Students and teachers have celebrated the Ramzan festival on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr in Mandal Parishad Primary School, Arepalli, Dharmapuri mandal, on Wednesday.
School headmaster Bejjanki Nithin and teachers M Pawan Kumar, G Saroja, D Chamanthi, Anganwadi teachers Shanthi and Kavitha and others were also present and celebrated the Ramzan festival by serving ‘sheer khurma’ (special sweet dish) to the students.
On this occasion, the school headmaster apprised children about the importance of the pious month of Ramzan and Eid-ul-Fitr. He said Ramzan is the month of meditation, penance and offering oneself to Almighty, purifying the thoughts and acts.
“Roza observed for a month by all Muslims with daily offering of namaz in morning and evening. On Eid-ul-Fitr, children along with their parents, relatives and friends, dress in new colourful attire, offer namaz at mosques in the morning wish each other. Other community people also wish them and Eid is observed as national holiday,” he stated.
