KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 16, 2024: The celestial wedding ceremony of Sri Seetha Rama Chandra Swamy began on Tuesday with all traditions and religious fervour on the eve of main Sri Rama Navami celebrations on Wednesday.
Accordingly, Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy performed the ‘Edurukollu’ (welcoming the presiding deities) at his residence in Karimnagar town on Tuesday. Amid chanting of vedic hymns by the pandits, Mr Narender Reddy performed the traditional ‘Edurukollu’ programme of the deities.
The temple priests of Sri Kodanda Ramaalayam in Sapthagiri participated in the celebrations of Edurukollu by offering traditional pujas to Sri Seetha Rama deities of the temple. Mr Narender Reddy had been participating in the Edudukollu of presiding deities of Sri Kodanda Ramaalayam for several years from his residence.
