KHAMMAM, MAY 28, 2024: In a shocking incident, a software engineer, who about the land in USA in two months, has reportedly committed suicide by jumping into an open well on the premises of her house in Narapunenipalli village of Waira mandal in the district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching here said that Dawuluri Varshitha (24) was married to a youth from Arukupadu village Tiruvuru mandal in the district on February 14 this year. Within four days after the marriage, the youth had migrated to USA for higher education. Varshitha was working as software engineer in Hyderabad. She was suffering from some illness for the past few days.
Her father Kiran Kumar had bought to the village on May 26. On Tuesday morning, the parents found her missing in the house and they searched the premises and found her dead in the open well on their premises. Her father Kiran Kumar lodged a complaint with the police stating that his daughter committed suicide due to ill-health.
Kiran Kumar was having two daughters. Varshita was elder and was planning to land in USA in the month of July and secured the necessary visa also. The family members expected that she would be joining her husband in USA and lead a happy life. But, her demise had come as a rude in both the families.
