MUMBAI, MAY 15, 2024: In a bizarre incident, Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s gunman has allegedly shot himself to death in his native village in Jamner town of Jalgaon district in Maharashtra state on Wednesday.
Source said that a State Reserve Police constable, Prakash Kapde (39), who was attached to Sachin Tendulkar’s security, who went on a vacation to his ancestral house. Kapde had shot himself in his neck with his service weapon and committed suicide.
He was survived with his wife and two minor children, a brother and other family members. The exact reasons for his suicide were not known yet. The Jamner police have registered a caste and investigating.
