KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 27, 2024: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau have trapped Gangadhara sub-registrar and his office sub-ordinate for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a person for doing official favour in his office on Saturday.
Sources said that the incharge sub-registrar Suresh Babu has demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from Anjaiah for doing gift deed registration of his ancestral property of 488 yards of land in Rekurthi to his friend Ajay Kumar. Anjaiah approached the ACB, who trapped the incharge sub-registrar while accepting the bribe amount through his office sub-ordinate Kothakonda Sridhar. The accused would be produced before the ACB court in Karimnagar town.
