

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 05, 2024: It was a dream come true for the rural students of Zilla Parishad High School, Mallapur, Thimmapur mandal as they visited New Delhi as part of their educational tour.
Under the guidance of Hindi teacher Shareef Ahmed, the eighth Class students viz K Shruti, P Rashmitha, P Sathwik and others—recently embarked on an educational tour to New Delhi. The group visited iconic, historical and cultural landmarks such as the Red Fort, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Akshardham Temple.

This trip was part of an experiential learning initiative, directly linked to the Class VIII Hindi lesson ‘Delhi se Patr’, which mentions several of the historical sites they explored. The students were thrilled to see these landmarks in person, transforming their textbook knowledge into a tangible and memorable experience.
Throughout the tour, Mr. Shareef Ahmed provided clear and engaging explanations about the significance and history of each site, helping students gain deeper insights into India’s rich cultural heritage. By visiting these monuments, students developed a closer connection with the history they had studied, enhancing their overall understanding of the subject.
The students expressed immense pride and joy in witnessing historical structures like the Red Fort and Qutub Minar. Visits to spiritual places such as the Akshardham Temple and Lotus Temple added to the richness of their experience. This journey fostered a personal connection with their lessons and strengthened their grasp of history.
