WARANGAL, JUNE 17, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and film actor Pawan Kalyan visited the home of a young fan, Ponugoti Niranjan, who is confined to his bed due to a rare genetic condition that has stunted his physical growth.
The last wish of 17-year-old Niranjan of Hanuman Nagar was to meet Pawan Kalyan. Upon learning of this through Telangana Jana Sena leaders, he visited Niranjan’s home on Wednesday
He embraced Niranjan and offered words of comfort. He spoke with Niranjan’s parents, Ponugoti Ramgopal and Manasa, enquiring about the boy’s health condition and provided financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to help cover medical expenses.
He watched photos and videos of Niranjan performing dance moves imitating Pawan Kalyan when he was in better health. He promised Niranjan that he would be the special guest if the movie OG2 was made; Niranjan mentioned that everyone calls him ‘Chota Gabbar Singh.’
During the visit, when Niranjan showed a picture of a puppy and expressed a desire to raise one, Pawan Kalyan promised to buy and send a puppy to him. When Niranjan’s father mentioned the need for the landlord’s permission to keep a dog, the landlord was invited to discuss the matter.
Pawan Kalyan directed the Janasena Telangana State leaders to set up a canteen for Niranjan’s parents to improve their livelihood. Producer Bandla Ganesh, an admirer of Pawan Kalyan, announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to support Niranjan’s family.

Later, he visited Sri Badrakali temple and offered prayers. The fans of the film star had arrived in large numbers to have a glimpse of their favourite hero. The police had a tough time regulating the surging crowds.
Pawan Kalyan in his official X posted: “A few days ago, I saw a video of a young man named Niranjan from Hanumakonda in Warangal district, who, while battling a rare disease, expressed his desire to meet me. I felt that Niranjan’s wish should be fulfilled. Today, I visited his residence in Hanumakonda and met with him. His extraordinary courage, self-confidence, and the way he faces adverse circumstances in his fight against the rare disease are truly inspiring. The mental fortitude Niranjan displays amid severe health problems is commendable. Wishing for Niranjan to recover completely, I prayed to the Kaliyuga’s direct deity, Sri Venkateswara Swamy. I hope the blessings of Bhadra Kali Ammavari remain upon him always. With God’s grace, may Niranjan recover soon. At the same time, I express my heartfelt thanks by name to Telangana Chief Minister Sri Revanth Reddy for providing full assistance and cooperation during my visit to Warangal and Hanumakonda today, to the Telangana state government, and to every individual in the Telangana Police department from senior officials to constables. I extend special thanks to the people of Telangana for the love, affection, and pride they show towards me. The blessings and love of the Telangana people will always inspire me. I will cherish the affection you have for me in the depths of my heart for a lifetime. Dear Niranjan.. Your courage is greater than your struggles. I hope to see you soon, fully healthy, with a bright smile, and even more enthusiastic”.
