HYDERABAD, MARCH 18, 2024: Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has tendered her resignation and sent the letter to President Droupadi Murmu for acceptance on Monday.
According to an official release here, the governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puduchery has tendered her resignation with immediate effect. It is learnt that Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan is planning to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Chennai South constituency formerly Madras South on behalf of BJP.
Dr Tamilisai was the second governor of Telangana state and she took charge on September 8, 2019.
