KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24, 2024: A health checkup camp was organised at St George International School (CBSE), Karimnagar, to create awareness regarding health issues among the children on Monday and Tuesday.
A team of doctors from Surya Chest Hospital conducted tests related to respiratory health for students. Based on the test results, parents were given prescription slips with personalized guidance and recommendations. The doctors said it was necessary to make school children aware of chronic diseases. Early sensitisation was important for them to become healthy adults. This helped them and their family members to understand how to cope with such diseases.
Chairman P Fatima Reddy stated that every year health checkups are an integral part of the school’s curriculum. This year, the focus was on respiratory health. He appreciated the support and cooperation extended by Dr Vinay Kumar and his team from Surya Chest Hospital. The program was attended by Principals Mr.Bhargav, Mr.V.Niranjan, teaching staff, and students.
