HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 24, 2024: NSS volunteers of New Government Degree College for Women, Golkonda, Hyderabad attended a special camp at City Central Library, Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad and participated in cleanliness drive of the library on Tuesday.
Under the supervision of NSS programme officer Humera Sayeed, faculty member Suchetha and Record Assistant Somalaxmi and guidance of principal T Sree Lakshmi, the students cleaned the library shelves and arranged the books in a proper manner. They removed the dust by using cloth. A total of 54 NSS volunteers participated in the cleanliness drive enthusiastically. Such activities are carried out to develop the dignity of labour among the volunteers.
College Principal T Sree Lakshmi said that as per the orders of Principal Secretary Burra Venkatesham, NSS Day was celebrated at the City Central Library, Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad.
