KARIMNAGAR, JULY 05, 2024: Amavasya special pujas at Sri Kalika matha temple in Kisannagar, Karimnagar town, celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety on Friday.
On this occasion, special pujas, abhishekhams, harathies and special rituals were conducted to the deity Goddess Durga at the shrine. Scores of attended the special rituals conducted during the Amavasya at the temple. Womenfolk who participated in the rituals had attained trance and predicted the development of the temple.
Temple organizer and local municipal corporator Kura Tirupathi had made all arrangements for the monthly rituals, which were observed only at Sri Kalikamatha temple in Karimnagar town. As part of the Ashadam month festivities, Mr Tirupathi said that they would be special decoration and pujas to the deity with one lakh bangles on July 26, there would be procession of deity on July 27 and Bonalu festivities on July 28. He called upon the devotees to participate in large numbers and seek the blessings of Goddess.
