KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 30, 2024: Ahead of Easter Sunday, a ‘Run for Jesus’ an ecumenical rally was organised by Christian community in Karimnagar town with religious fervour on Saturday.
The rally started from Ambedkar statue at Court cross roads and reached Wesley Cathedral church passing through all important streets of the town. Several hundreds of Christians from all the Churches such as Karimnagar, Kothapalli, LMD colony in and around Karimnagar town came onto the roads and participated in the rally carrying flags and banners and shouting with joy that ‘Christ is risen, indeed Christ is risen’.
Pastors Timothi Jayaraj, S John, Ramulu Emmanuel, Elisha, David Raj, John, Krishna, Suresh, Chander Rao, Satyam, Ch Devadas, Wilson, Ch Sanjay, Madanmohan and others participated in the rally. The run culminated in rejoining with praise and worship conducted by local Gospel singers and pastors delivered a short Easter message.
