KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 16, 2024: Management of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) (autonomous) celebrated the 10th anniversary of Sri Saraswathi matha temple on its premises on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Sunday on a religious note amid chanting of vedic hymns and special puja rituals by the priests.
The JITS campus houses Sri Saraswathi matha (God of learning) and Sri Satya Sai Baba temple at the entrance of its premises on the outskirts of Karimnagar. As part of 10th anniversary of construction and consecration of the temple, the priests have performed special puja rituals and homams since early hours amid chanting of vedic hymns.
The temple was decorated traditionally with mango and banana leaves and flowers. The Goddess Saraswathi was also decorated with special flowers on the occasion. Students of JITS engineering, pharmacy and Bed colleges and also Jyothismathi Academy CBSE School participated in the puja rituals and took blessings from the Goddess of Learning. JITS chairman J Sagar Rao and his wife J Vijaya and other faculty members were also present.
