KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 02, 2024: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has paid floral tributes to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 155th birth anniversary celebrations in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
The Minister participated in the birth anniversary celebrations at his camp office and garlanded the portrait of Mahatma and recollected his services during the freedom struggle. The nation will continue to remain indebted to the father of the nation for the selfless service and sacrifices he made for achieving freedom from the British colonial rule, he stated.
University Pharmaceutical Sciences College of Satavahana University had celebrated Mahatma’s birth anniversary at LMD in Karimnagar town by paying floral tributes to the portrait of Gandhi. College Principal K Srisailam, Assistant Registrar Y Kishore, faculty JL Archana, Tirumal and others participated.
SRR Government Arts and Science College in Karimnagar incharge principal P Nithin paid floral tributes to the portrait of Mahatma. Vice Principal T Rajaiah, IQAC coordinastor Harjoth Kaur, faculty members Ramesh Babu, T Srinivas, B Chandrashekhar, M Srinivas reddy, B Naresh, Kiranmayi, Elizabeth, Shirisha and others were also present.
Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries.
HUM voluntary organisation took out a Swachh Bharath rally in Karimnagar to create awareness about the importance of keeping the surroundings clean and tidy. HUM founder Dhanapuri Sagar and others paid floral tribute to the portrait of Gandhi at TTD Kalyana mandapam. On this occasion, the HUM representatives educated people to desist from using plastics.
