Congratulates employees for making Karimnagar DCCB a role model in the country by adopting best practices and good governance
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2024: NAFSCOB and Karimnagar DCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao has called upon the District Cooperative Central Bank employees to rededicate themselves and strive to further increase the business and customer base.
Congratulating the employees and the teamwork for the success of the Karimnagar DCCB, which emerged as a role model and brand in the cooperative sector banking country, Mr Ravinder Rao said that the bank would further progress as there was good market potential in the integrated Karimnagar district and informed the employees to tap the resources and continue its supremacy.
Mr Rao hoisted the national flag on the occasion of 78th Independence Day celebrations at the Karimnagar DCCB main office in Karimnagar town on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he said after the Covid the use of technology had increased manifold in the country and informed the employees to encourage digital transactions. He hoped that the bank employees would definitely cross-targeted business of doing Rs 7,500 crore during the financial year 2024-25.
Recollecting the performance of the bank during his last 19-year tenure, he said that the bank had made strides in all sectors with the support of the employees. “It is really happy to note that several cooperators from the entire country are visiting the Karimnagar DCCB to study its success mantra and follow the best practices being implemented in the district”, he stated.
He said that he had planned to create a total of 100 bank branches in the integrated Karimnagar district with the creation of new mandals and make the bank available at the doorstep of the villagers and create more employment. However, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) restrictions were hampering in opening of the new branches, he said and added that they would convert the PACS as bank branches and provide all services on par with the banks for the benefit of its customers.
DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao urged the employees to maintain cordial relations with the customers and increase the customer base to at least 10 lakhs from the existing 7.5 lakh customers. He also informed the bank employees to have a humanitarian touch with the customers and strive to increase the deposits as the bank was providing the highest interest rates. Directors V Mohan Reddy, Swamy Reddy, general managers B Sridhar and Md Riazuddin, DGMs, AGMs, PACS development Centre resource person, Union leader G Hanumantha Rao, main branch manager K Sunil and other branch managers and employees were also present.
