KARIMNAGAR, JULY 22, 2026: The Left-wing student unions have called for a state-wide bandh of educational institutions on July 24, 2026 (Friday), demanding the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on moral grounds over the NEET question paper leak controversy.
The bandh has been jointly called by the AISF, the SFI, the USFI, the PDSU, the AIDSO, AISB, NSUI and others, condemning the brutal lathicharge on the students protesting against the NEET question paper leakage at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
They demanded that the government should take strict and immediate action against the paper leakage mafia that is playing with the future of lakhs of students across the country and implement a completely transparent examination system.
The student unions have appealed to the students, teachers and managements of government and private schools, junior colleges, degree and professional colleges as well as universities across the state, to actively participate and make the bandh a grand success. They urged everyone to unite in protest to safeguard student rights and secure their future.
