Health Screening Programme Conducted by Alumni Doctors at Vivekananda Residential School

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 22, 2026: Vivekananda Residential School (VRS), Karimnagar, organised a comprehensive Health Screening Program on its campus in collaboration with its distinguished alumni doctors. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and create awareness about the importance of regular medical check-ups among students.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and staff members. A team of eminent alumni doctors from various medical specialisations volunteered their services and conducted health screenings for the students. The medical team included Dr. K. Vamshidhar Reddy (Orthopedic Surgeon), Prof. Dr. E. Ranadheer (Dental Surgeon), Dr. G. Kalyan Chakravarthy (Ophthalmologist), Dr. Harish G.V. (Paediatrician), and Dr. Vikas Lahoti (Dermatologist).

The screening covered various specialities, including General Medicine, Ophthalmology (Eye Care), Dental Health, Dermatology (Skin Care), and ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat). The doctors interacted with students, conducted preliminary examinations, and provided valuable guidance on maintaining good health and hygiene.

Addressing the gathering, the school management emphasised that the programme was an important step towards ensuring the overall well-being of students. They highlighted that early detection of health concerns, preventive care, and timely medical advice contribute significantly to a child’s physical development and academic success.

The initiative reflected the strong bond between the institution and its alumni, who continue to contribute to the welfare of the school community. The alumni doctors appreciated the opportunity to give back to their alma mater and encouraged students to adopt healthy lifestyles.
