Combined Annual Training Camp–III Concludes at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous) in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE  22, 2026:  The valedictory ceremony of the Combined Annual Training Camp–III (CATC-III) was conducted with great enthusiasm and discipline at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar.

The ten-day NCC training camp, held on the JITS campus, featured various activities including drill practice, firing, obstacle training, map reading, field craft, battle craft, sports, cultural programmes, yoga, debates, quizzes, and social service activities.

The camp was organised by the 9 Telangana Battalion NCC, Karimnagar, from June 13 to June 22, 2026, at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous). The programme was graced by Colonel A.K. Jayanth, Commanding Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion NCC, Karimnagar, and Lieutenant Colonel V. Krishna, Administrative Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion NCC, Karimnagar.

On this occasion, Chairman Sri J. Sagar Rao and Secretary & Correspondent Sri J. Sumith Sai expressed their happiness. They stated that it was a matter of pride for JITS (Autonomous) to be chosen as the venue for this prestigious camp. They further remarked that such programmes help inculcate leadership qualities, discipline, patriotism, and a spirit of service among the youth.

Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar, Dean Academics & Audit Dr. P.K. Vaishali, NCC Officers, Lieutenant G. Jagadeeshwar, PI Staff Maheshwar Reddy, staff members, and cadets expressed their gratitude to the college management for successfully organising and concluding the camp.
