A 16-year-old prodigy from Hyderabad, Grandmaster V Prraneeth, created history by securing the title of a Grandmaster (GM) last year. He is India’s 82nd Grandmaster, post defeating Grandmaster Hans Niemann of USA during the last year. With this win, Prraneeth crossed 2500 Elo Ratings. Prraneeth is also the fifth Grandmaster from the Telangana State and obtained his first title of International Master (IM) during the year 2022. He started this remarkable journey at a tender age of 06 years and became Telangana State Champion in the year 2013.
