KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 03, 2024: Karimnagar Municipal Commissioner Chahat Bajpai has directed the officials to effectively control the movement of stray cattle on the main roads in various parts of the town from Wednesday onwards.
Expressing concern over the movement of stray cattle on the roads and causing umpteen woes to the roads in Karimnagar town, the Municipal Commissioner instructed the officials to launch a special drive to shift all the stray cattle from the roads to the Goushalas. If any cattle are found to be sick on the roads, the cattle-catcher team would take them to the government veterinary hospital for safe and prompt treatment, she stated.
Instructing the cattle owners and caretakers to shift the cattle from the roads to their respective cattle sheds, the Commissioner said that the MCK would not be held responsible if the stray cattle are shifted to the Goushala. She informed the cattle owners to maintain their cattle at their cattle sheds and not to leave them on the roads and cause a nuisance to the citizens of the town.
