HYDERABAD, JULY 20, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has formally launched the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastham’ of imparting special coaching to the candidates, who have cleared UPSC Civil Services Preliminary examination with the support of Singareni Collieries Company Limited, at Praja bhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Deputy CM Mallu Batti Vikramarka, Ministers Seethakka, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Thummala Nageshwara Rao, MLAs G Vivekanand, Makhan Sing Raj Thakur, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, SCCL chairman and managing director N Balaram and others were also present.
Interacting with the candidates who have passed Civils Prelims, the Chief Minister said that the Telangana movement was the result of fulfilling the aspirations of youth for jobs. “Telangana attained statehood on the pillars of sacrifices. We know the plight of the unemployed youth. The government is according priority to address the problems of the unemployed youth and issued orders for filling up 30,000 posts within three months after attaining power”, he stated.
Stating that the unemployed youth struggled a lot in the last 10 years, he said that the Telangana State Public Service Commission ( TGPSC) was reformed on the lines of UPSC. The TGPSC already conducted Group 1 prelims and DSC exams are in progress, he added.
The government considered the difficulties faced by the unemployed and postponed Group-II examinations. The government’s first priority is to solve the problems of unemployed and also decided to conduct the examinations efficiently in a well-planned plan, he maintained
The Job calendar will be announced in the ensuing budget session of the state Assembly, he assured. Government will compile the data of vacancies in every department before March every year. Notification will be issued by June 2 and the recruitment process will be completed by December 9, he claimed. He congratulated the Singareni management for taking up such a good programme.
