KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 09, 2024: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has assured all assistance from the Union government for the development of the Lions Club of Karimnagar Dr Bhaskar Madekar charitable eye hospital in Rekurti of Karimnagar town.
The Union Minister visited the charitable eye hospital on Monday and inaugurated the modernized out-patient block on the premises. Speaking on the occasion, he informed the hospital authorities to submit proposals for the comprehensive development of the charitable eye hospital and assured to secure funds from Union Health Ministry by talking to Union Minister JP Nadda.
He went round the hospital and inspected all the wards and operation theatres and appreciated the sanitation and cleanliness in the hospital. He congratulated the management for providing state of the art modern eye care services such as retina, glaucoma and stint eye surgeries in Karimnagar.
Hospital chairman Konda Venu Murthy, vice chairman Chidura Suresh, secretary Prakash Holla, treasurer Bomma Pawan Kumar, members Dr Muralidhar Rao, Kola Anna Reddy, Mukka Sharath Krishna, Myadam Shivakanth, Lambu Sudhakar Reddy and others were also present.
