KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 24, 2024: Former MP Gotte Bhupathi’s wife Shantha (76) passed away due to age-related ailments at her residence in Karimnagar town on Sunday afternoon.
She was undergoing treatment for an age-related ailment and passed away due to a sudden heart attack on Sunday afternoon. Mr Gotte Bhupathi was an MP from the Peddapalli parliament constituency and he was also a two-terms MLA from Nerella assembly segment.
Bhupathi’s son Gotte Sudheer Babu is the Rachakonda Commissioner of Police and another son Suman Babu is an advocate. A native of Thangallapalli village in Rajanna-Sircilla district, Mr Bhupathi resides in a small house measuring not even 100 yards in Mankammathota locality of Karimnagar town. He is known for his simplicity and dignified living.
Gotte Bhupathi said that he had lost his mother with an emotionally choking voice and tears filled his eyes.
