KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 24, 2024: SRR Government Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar town, witnessed a grand celebration of 76th NCC formation day with colourful cultural programmes and enthusiastic participation from cadets representing 9 Telangana NCC Battalion in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
The event highlighted the spirit of discipline, unity and culture, which are the core values of the National Cadet Corps. NCC officer Captain Rella Sanjeev explained the importance of NCC in shaping the youth into responsible citizens and commended the cadets for their outstanding efforts.
Speaking on the occasion, College Principal K Ramakrishna said that NCC inculcates discipline and nationalism among students, shaping them into responsible citizens. He appreciated the students’ pyramid formations and cultural performances during the event. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contribution of the chief guest, principal, Associate NCC Officers, faculty members, staff and cadets for making the event memorable. NCC Battalion Havaldar Hakim Singh and others were also present.
