Week-long NSS camp organised by Vivekananda Degree and PG College concludes

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 22, 2024: A week long camp organised by NSS cell of Vivekananda Degree and PG College, Karimnagar town, in Kodimial mandal headquarters has concluded on Friday.

The closing ceremony marked with the conduct of blood donation by the NSS volunteers. Kodimial SI Sandeep, who inaugurated the blood donation camp, lauded the selfless services of NSS volunteers as part of their week-long camp and also participating in blood donation camp to save lives. Along with village former upa-sarpanch G Jeevan Reddy, 12 volunteers donated blood on the occasion.

During the camp, the NSS volunteers participated in ‘shramdhaan’ programmes and cleanliness drive in the mandal headquarters and laying of temporary kuchcha road etc.

Kodimial MRO B Rajamani participated as chief guest during the closing ceremony. On this occasion, she extolled various social and academic activities undertaken by NSS volunteers during the camp. She appreciated the volunteers for spreading awareness on various social issues and exhorted the students to take part in social welfare programmes.

NSS programme officers R Gopikrishna and K Satish Kumar inspired the NSS volunteers to make contribution to the development of the country. Government junior college NSS programme officer Tirupati, senior NSS vcolunteers M Ravichander and P Santosh and others were also present.
