KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 11, 2024: Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states NCC Deputy Director-General and Air Commodore VM Reddy visited the NCC 9 Telangana Battalion and SRR college NCC unit in Karimnagar town on Wednesday and interacted with the principals of schools and colleges having NCC units in the district.
The NCC cadets had given a guard of honour to the state chief of the NCC unit. Later, the NCC DDG distributed prizes to the outstanding NCC cadets of the Battalion. Speaking on the occasion, the Air Commodore called upon the cadets to display the highest qualities of character, maturity and selfless service as well as the highest standards of discipline and conduct, maintaining a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork cutting across the barriers of region, language, caste and creed. “The NCC aims to enhance the self-confidence of cadets, deepen their value systems and provide exposure to the rich culture and traditions of our nation,” he asserted.
Telangana (9) Battalion commandant Daniel Lotzem, AO Rajeshwar Jaiswal, SM Sagar Singh, ANOs Captain Rella Sanjeev, Major Ravindra Babu, Captain Kiran Jyothi, Lt P Raju, First Officer K Triveni and others were also present.
