HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 16, 2024: Management of the Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, organised a recreational picnic for the students of IX to XII grades on the occasion of Children’s Day on Friday at Dream Valley Resort in Hyderabad.
This outing was aimed to provide a relaxed environment for students to unwind and socialise with peers. Upon arrival, students and staff were welcomed with refreshments. Students were divided into groups to engage in various activities, including team sports – cricket, tennis, kabaddi, kho-kho, water games – jet showers, rain dance, slide pools, and indoor play areas. The Magic Show fascinated students, while nature walks allowed them to appreciate the surrounding beauty.
A well-timed lunch break and a special ice cream treat added to the day’s excitement. Teachers actively participated alongside students, fostering camaraderie and making the trip unforgettable.
The picnic concluded with students departing at 6.00 pm. The event successfully provided a rejuvenating experience, allowing students to return to school refreshed and energised.
The Principal of the school, Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari had joined the students at the picnic spot and spent time joyfully with the students. This outing reinforced the importance of balancing academics with recreational activities, promoting overall well-being and social skills.
The picnic’s success is attributed to meticulous planning and execution by school staff. Such events will continue to play a vital role in shaping students’ personalities and creating lasting memories.
