PEDDAPALLI, SEPTEMBER 07, 2024: Students of Pallavi Model School, Nimmanapalli branch on the outskirts of Peddapalli town have made clay Ganesh idols to worship during the Ganesh Chathurthi celebrations beginning from Saturday.
Under the guidance of the art and craft teachers, the students moulded different forms of Ganesh idols by using clay material. They also installed the same on the school premises and worshipped. School Correspondent Shoba Rani, Principal Sridevi, teachers Swetha, Sharadha, Santhosh Kumar, Umadevi, Anil and all teaching and non-teaching staff participated in this event.
Speaking on the occasion, Shoba Rani said that the Plaster of Paris (PoP) idols were causing enormous harm to the environment with the pollution of water bodies after their immersion. She said that the clay idols were the best form of worship of the Lord Ganesha seeking his blessings and also for the protection of the environment.
